What Veganism Isn't: And What Veganism Is (In Two Short Paragraphs)

· Vegan

Veganism is not: strange, weird, bizarre, or extreme. Veganism is not declining, diminishing, subsiding or decreasing. Veganism is not un-natural, nor is it un-realistic. Veganism is not: harming, cruel, or violent.

Veganism is a rapidly growing global movement which respects the lives of living beings. For example, the pig in this post’s photo. Pigs are intelligent, sensitive beings who have individual personalities, and who value their families and friends. Veganism supports letting the pigs — and all the animals and fish — live in freedom, without fear of being slaughtered (or abused, such as for dairy and eggs). Veganism is: kindness, mercy, compassion, and love.
