Teja Ray's Ideas for Vegan Gifts

· Vegan,Vegan Shopping

Season’s Greetings, Everyone! 🎁🎄

Here are a few ideas for vegan gifts* ~

* Please note: I do not work for any of these companies, and I will not receive a commission for these products, except for a small revenue if you order my book, Vegan Ramayana. 😃

~ Warm, very soft winter vegan socks. After much searching, and trying out many styles that were so tight they cut off the circulation, I have finally found some comfy vegan socks to replace the old cruelty-wool socks. These socks are incredibly soft, so they are way more comfortable than scratchy wool, and they’re warm! On Amazon: Thermal Socks, Time and River Unisex Soft Thick Insulated

~ Doji natural, organic, vegan deodorant spray. I ordered “Royal Spice” which has a very nice cinnamon fragrance from an organic essential oil blend. I am very sensitive, even to natural scents, and I am happy with the aroma of this spray. On Amazon: Doji Royal Spice. On their website, Doji Natural, their catchy slogan is #GetYourDojiOn, which I thought was cute. The deodorant also comes in Mountain Pine, Desert Sage, Fresh Citrus, and Lavender. Plus they have a hand sanitizing spray, which I am considering trying out, because they say it can be used to clean phones.

~ Jasper’s Story: Saving Moon Bears, a children’s book by Jill Robinson and Marc Bekoff, illustrated by Gijsbert van Frankenhuyzen. This is a wonderful book for all ages. I have given it to children and I also got myself a copy to read from time to time. It is the story of a bear who got to leave the horrific life on a bear farm in China. His healing journey at Animals Asia was profoundly amazing. On Amazon: Jasper’s Story: Saving Moon Bears.

~ Adorable, soft, stuffed (vegan/synthetic) bears. These two bears make a great gift along with Jasper’s Story. Stuffed bears can be loved by humans of all ages. They make an especially nice gift for pet-free vegans (yes, there are a few of us!), because they are sweet to cuddle… and, they do not require food, water, walking, or waste removal! 👏 On Amazon: Brown Bear and Black Bear. These bears sit cutely on my bed during the day, and I tuck them in the sheets at night! I named my brown bear “Lil’ Buddha Bear” and my black bear “Lil’ Jambavan Bear”. 😃🧸

~ Vegan Voices: Essays by Inspiring Changemakers, edited by Dr. Joanne Kong. This new book is super uplifting, and makes a great gift for vegans and the vegan-interested. On Lantern Publishing & Media: Vegan Voices

~ Vegan Ramayana: The Shakahara StarFire Way of Rama, by myself (Teja Shankara)! Links to order in this post: “Vegan Ramayana Book Makes a Merry Gift for Yourself.”

And here’s a little stocking stuffer suggestion: Vegan Lip Balm. I’ve been using this one for many years and it’s totally awesome! It’s very fun, because on the label it says “I’m vegan” so every time I see that on my table, I chuckle and say, “I’m vegan too!” 😂 On Amazon: Soothing Touch Grapefruit Vegan Lip Balm.

I hope this post will be helpful to those looking for vegan gifts. Happy shopping! 🎁🎄🧸
