Farm Animal Sanctuary Videos Soothe A Sad Vegan Heart

· Vegan

When I feel as though I will drown in my own ocean of compassion, one of my “lifeboats” is watching videos from farm animal sanctuaries. For example, seeing the merry little goats in a recent Farm Sanctuary video really cheers my sad mind and soothes my sad vegan heart.

The caption with the video reads: “If you've been following along, you know that mother goats Sadie and Autumn each recently welcomed a set of twin boys! Last week, we combined the families to allow the babies to meet. After a brief moment of shyness, the four boys were all excitedly jumping, playing, and bonding. Sadie and Autumn seemed happy to be reunited (we rescued them both from the same neglect situation) and were getting to know each other's babies. Both sets of twins are healthy and rapidly gaining weight and height. They love each other and have started sleeping in a clump with their mothers next to them. Stay tuned this week for when we announce their names!”

I hope you will enjoy this 33-second video as much as I do: “Baby Goats Jump and Play Together.”

If you are already vegan, I hope that you also take time to nourish yourself on whatever “lifeboats” help you to stay afloat on the sea of vegan compassion… And if you are not yet vegan, I hope that seeing farm animal sanctuary videos helps you to expand your realm of compassion so that you will soon choose the vegan journey!
